I see things others can’t see,

I explore ideas others stay away from

Currently an Art Director
at Terri and Sandy

I was born in the capital city of Uzbekistan, Tashkent, grew up in Russian family, and moved to New York when I was a teenager. I find it funny that I never know how to answer a simple “where are you from?” question. I consider myself an exotic, open minded creative who looks at the world from different cultural perspectives.

I draw inspiration from performing arts and literature. Majestic movements and elegant aesthetics in Ballet is what brings me emotional satisfaction. Whereas literature is teaching me storytelling, which is the backbone of the design process.

“Manuscripts don't burn.”

Mikhail Bulgakov (1891 - 1940)

After I read The Master and Margarita, the novel by Mikhail Bulgakov, in its original language, I understood the beauty of balance between good and evil. This masterpiece is a pure surrealism in written form with irony, humor and unique outlook on life. Reading this novel made me realize that I want to create something powerful in my life, that won’t burn, just like the manuscripts.

My devotion to design, curiosity to learn about the advertising industry and determination to pursue an exciting career have led me to the creative world.
